As Bill Watson's weight rose, his blood sugar rose with it. "I reached 324 pounds, and my diabetes was out of control," he explains. "It was time to make a change." He turned to Baylor at a friend's suggestion and learned about gastric sleeve surgery. "That's the route we took," says Bill, who dropped 128 pounds. "No more diabetes," he reports. Nine months later, Bill remains trim and active. "I ride my bike. I go dancing. On a scale of one to 10, my quality of life is 100."
